The footctrl program allows the USB foot switch to act like a mouse funtion or a key board entry.
Mouse buttons left, center or right can be emulated.
Keyboard mode allows up to 256 keyboard keys, including all special keys (eg CTRL ATL etc.).
Both foot switch press and and release can be programmed independantly. Only available for Microsoft Windows.

How to select your footswitch.
1) First choose how you what the footswitch to behave on your system. There are four configurations; a keyboard key, a joystick button, a mouse button or a software programmable event. Software programmable devices require a external program like footctrl (or a similar custom program) to detect when the footswitch is pressed and then to send the appropriate event to the system.
2) Under each configuration there are sub configurations. Choose the appropriate type. For instance keyboard configuration can be fixed key or settable key with a dip switch. Joystick button can be buttons 1 thru 8. And mouse buttons can either be Left, Right or Middle buttons.
3) Next choose weather you what a two button or single button footswitch. And weather you want a 2Meter (6feet) or a 5Meter (15feet) USB cable.
4) Lastly make sure the device is supported on your intended operating system.
