Electronic Assembler


JOB DESCRIPTION:

Delcom Products is seeking to add an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to our team. This position is responsible for assembly, soldering, box-builds, testing and packaging.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assembling of electro-mechanical assemblies by soldering, crimping, stripping wire, screwing fasteners and enclosures.



EXPERIENCE:

Soldering experience.

Works well with one hands.

Knowledge of hand tools.

Electronic and Mechanical experience.

Computer Experience 




JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Able to read schematics and electronic assembly drawings. 
Able to identify electronic components and parts. 
Knowledge of hand tools, surface mount, and through-hole assembly methods for electronic printed circuit board assembly. Ability to assmebly small parts and able to use magnifying glass. Knowledge of cable and harness assembly methods.
Printed circuit board assembly techniques including soldering at the surface mount component level.
Cable and harness assembly techniques. Crimping techniques. Strong organizational skills. Computer-related tasks. Able to speak, read, write and understand English as it relates to performing job requirements.




EDUCATION:

Diploma or GED from an accredited high school or technical school.



Job Type: Part-time, Flexiable hours (may lead to Full time)

Pay: $20.00 per hour - Starting rate (depends on applicants experience)

The successful candidate will be responsible for entering and processing orders, date entry, answering emails and phones, computer-related tasks and other general office duties. We are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and has excellent communication skills. Able to speak, read, write and understand English as it relates to performing job requirements.
